CALENDAR

September 12th, Monday, at 7:00PM  A meeting of the Holy Name Society of Mt. Carmel/St. Rocco Society will be held on in Mt. Carmel Parish Hall. All members are invited; also we invite all men to come and offer new ideas for future social events. Please come and offer your talents that God has given you.

Þ September 13th, Tuesday, at 7:00PM there will be a special Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Sacred Heart singers will perform in concert before the Mass at 6:30PM. Refreshments will be served after the Mass.  Everyone is invited to attend this Mass and offer prayers to the      Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Þ September 15thThursday, at 7:00PM St. Joseph Marello Altar & Rosary Society will hold their first meeting. All ladies from Mt. Carmel & St. Rocco Parishes are invited to this meeting. We are looking forward to having new ideas offered for future social events. Please come and offer your talents that God has given you.

Þ September 17th Saturday at our 4:00PM Mass at Mt. Carmel Church The Knights of Columbus will participate. The Knights will have a special ceremony . New members are most welcome.

Þ September 18th Sunday. The Feast of our Lady of Sorrows will be celebrated with a Mass at 9:30AM at St. Rocco’s Church.

Þ September 18th Sunday Catechetical Sunday, , the Religious Education teachers/aides will be installed during the 11:00 AM Mass. Let us offer our prayers for our teachers and aides as they will offer Jesus’ Message to our children.

October 2nd, Sunday, The Feast of the Mother of the Rosary will be celebrated with a Mass at 9:30AM at     St. Rocco’s Church.  A procession will start at 3:00PM through the neighborhood Streets.

Þ October 7th, Friday,  at 6:30PM we will hold the “Nite at the Races” in Mt. Carmel Parish Hall. More information will be offered through the mail.

Þ Sunday, October 30th, a Harvest Festival and Halloween Party will take place after the 11:00 AM Mass for our children, families, and friends. More information will be mailed to our parishioners.

Þ Sunday, November 6th, at 1:00 PM, the Mass of Remembrance will be held at St. Rocco Church for all deceased members of the past year.

Þ Sunday, November 13th, at 1:00 PM the Mass of Remembrance will be held at Mt. Carmel Church for all deceased members of the past year.

Þ Sunday, November 20th, the new Parish of St. Joseph Marello will be inaugurated at the 11:00 AM Mass in Mt. Carmel Church. The new Parish will consist of parishioners from Mt. Carmel and St. Rocco Churches. Mt. Carmel Church will be the main worship place, St. Rocco Church will be an additional worship site.
