CONSECRATION OF OUR NEW ALTAR

The present Pastor, Reverend Paul McDonnell, felt the need to enhance the church's beauty by undertaking a full renovation project this past summer. The last time the church underwent such a facelift was about 25 years ago.  The seven week renovation project included the installation of marble altars, a baptismal font, pulpits, chairs and veneer background.  Work also included the re-carpeting of the church, re-upholstering and restructuring of existing pews, enhanced lighting and sound system, painting and the addition of new sacred adornments.   This dream was realized by the overwhelming generosity and prayerful support of the Mt. Carmel Parishioners and friends of the surrounding area.
